Godspell - Auditions

OPEN AUDITIONS
7.30pm (onwards)
We are looking for talented singers/actors for ALL principle parts in this new take on Stephen Schwartz's classic rock musical. There are 10 principle parts on offer plus we will be utilising an expanded chorus throughout the show. If you would like to audition for a principal role, please contact the director (see below) to arrange a specific time slot - Chorus see below.
Principals
5 male (including the roles of Jesus and Judas) and 5 female.
Strong vocal ability is key, but we are also looking for flexible acting. An ability to 'move' would also be beneficial. Age range is flexible, however as rough guide we are looking for people in around the 25-40 age bracket.
You will be asked to sing one of either 2 songs - whichever you feel is your strongest, however you should be familiar with the other, as you may be asked to sing both.
Men: Alas for you (Jesus) and/or We Beseech Thee
Women: Learn your Lessons Well and/or Turn Back, O Man
A copy of the dialogue we shall be using for text/acting audition will be emailed when audition time is confirmed
There will be no movement/dance audition.

As a brand new company, we are keen to encourage new members of all experience and ages to become involved and would also be keen to hear from anyone who would like to join to take part in the chorus or help backstage.
